The Learn to Play program is for skaters who have successfully completed Basic 1.

Learn to Play will teach skaters controlled forward and backward crossovers and hockey stops.

These skills will help new hockey players become competent skaters.

The Advanced Learn to Play program is for skaters who have successfully completed Learn to Play.

Advanced Learn to Play introduces new players to the fundamentals of the game. At this level,  with the use of sticks and pucks, FULL GEAR IS REQUIRED. Skaters will be instructed on skating, puck control, passing, shooting and team play while playing cross ice hockey.

These skills will help new hockey players understand the concepts of the game.

“Polar Ice House Grapevine has an extensive hockey program for the beginning skater all the way to the elite travel and pro teams, all in one place! Kids can join the Intro to Hockey program to learn the basic skills needed before moving on to learn to play hockey which teaches new players how to play the game. Are you ready to play now? The Grapevine Wolves Hockey Teams begins at age 4 -17 years old. Players are taught by USA Hockey Certified coaches that take the time to develop a wide range of skills needed for each individual skater. We offer girls and boys youth hockey teams!

Calling all ADULTS who have never played hockey before! Every dream of scoring that goal for your team, while having fun, and getting a great workout? The Adult Hockey House League is open to men and women and is a fun, affordable ice hockey program for players of all skills and ages, from beginners to more experienced players who are working on taking their game to the next level. The Goal of Polar Ice House professional coaching staff is to provide players with a safe, enjoyable, constructive experience that focuses on skating fundamentals, hockey skills, teamwork and the technical understanding of the game.

Get out of the heat during the hot summer days and bring your kids to practice your skills.
